介词短语，是介词和其它代词或名词或词组搭配形成的短语。口语上简称“介短”。该短语主要是用来表示词与词， 词与句之间的关系。
97. on behalf of 代表，为了……的利益
用法：on behalf of后面可以跟表示人、团队、公司之类的名词、代词或者名词词组。
例句：The ability to guard customer data is the key to market value, which the board is responsible for on behalf of shareholders. (2007年考研)
董事会代表股东负责保护客户数据，这种能力是市场价值的关键。
语法结构分析：The ability to guard customer data是主语，to guard customer data是不定式词组作状语起步网校， is是系动词，the keyto market value是表语, which引导非限制性定语从句钓鱼网， the board是主语， is是系动词， responsible for是表语， on behalf of shareholders是状语。

用法：on display通常与系动词连用，也可以用on show，一般不放在句首。
例句：People were much interested in the job resources on display. (2013年6月四级)
