一.Text Analysis(Section A 3a to section B 1b ):
In this period, it incloudes Section A 3a to section B 1b. In the first period, the students have practised much in speaking, listening, they have learnt a lot about this topic. The input is the basic. In the second period, we’ll go on expanding this topic. Enable the students to learn how to use “ How was the weather?, How was/ were…?, and try to answer “What did these people think of their vacations?”, at the same time, we need to explain more about the past tense. We’ll introduce more pictures from others countries, let the students learn more about the foreign culture. 二.Teaching aims and demands
Knowledge: simple past tense and the past form of verbs
New words: dilicious, crowded, expensive, cheap,awful
Sentences: How was the weather/the people/food/…

Moral education: communication with others freely.
Ability: Talk about things happened in the past and evaluate

Step1: Warming up.

Step 2: Learn the new words
Under the topic of vacation, learn what will happen during vacation to learn the new words.
Step3: Learn the own teachers’ vacations.

(2)Show some material about the teachers’ vacation
Music teacher: Last summer vacation, he went to New York City. Unluckily, it often rained and the food was really awful. The beaches were fantastic. Some people were unfriendly.

B: It was awful.
Foreign teacher: She went to summer camp in Beijing. The weather was sunny but hot. The food was delicious but expensive. Anyway, my vacation was great, the people were friendly.
